Happy Birthday

This's my little niece Ada, so lovely and adorable. See, she's given her mother (i.e. my 2nd sister Stephanie) a BIG BIG birthday gift yesterday - she stood still on her own strength and will. What a surprise!

P.S. In chinese saying, there's one about "nieces always look like their uncles". Consider my ugly face, I whole-heartedly hope that Ada and I won't look alike. But If she really does "inherit" one my of features, my long and dense eyelashes won't be bad for girl.

P.P.S. I promise I will teach her guitar when she has grown up, maybe 6-year-old.

My ARE 1yr Anniversary

Today is 19th May 2010, my 1yr anniversary as ARE in Tuen Mun Road Tai Lam Section.


This picture was taken on 18th May 2009, my last day as Grad.E. This was my workplace in Shatin head (design) office, what a confining space with tonnes of papers and rubbish! I remember how happy I was when I left head office on that day. I could hardly veil my smirking face, nor my eyes droplets on my way home, "Oh, after design-abused, in the end I am granted with a new life. From tomorrow onwards, I will become ARE..."

Time passes, now it is 19th May 2010.


This picture was taken on 19th May 2010 (actually just a few minutes ago), my 1yr anniversary as ARE. To be frank, life here is far different from what I expected. Or it is like what RE(C) Simon says, "you can simply idle here, but the site works will be still ongoing!" Well, what a joke but how true it is. All in all, it gives me pause to write logbook. It gives me leisure to read novels. And more importantly, it gives me tranquil moments to do what I embrace when I am off-work.

One year later, 19th May 2011, Shatin or Tuen Mun or elsewhere, god knows where I will end up be!?

Time passes. Life endures. The best is yet to come. Cheers.
